Needing to focus on both the heat AND humidity in the days ahead 🥵 ~ Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Hot, hazy, and humid conditions continue
• Nearing 100° into the weekend, feeling like 105°-110° in spots
• *Slight* break in temperatures, isolated rain chances possible early next week
FORECAST DETAILS:
It's been another hot, humid, and hazy day with more on the way into the upcoming weekend. Here's the latest:
Thursday evening plans will consist of temperatures gradually falling into the 80s after sunset with partly cloudy skies and a healthy southeast breeze.
Friday starts similar to today, with morning cloud cover and lows in the upper 70s. Peeks of sunshine return by the afternoon, helping high temperatures climb into the upper 90s in San Antonio. Factor in the humidity, and feels-like temperatures could approach the 105°-110° degree range in spots.
Along with the heat, smoke from agricultural burning in Mexico may still cause a slight dip to air quality for those with unusually sensitive respiratory systems. Some of that haze will stick around at times through the remainder of the week.
This heatwave continues into Memorial Day Weekend with air temperatures nearing 100°, but still feeling even hotter. A 'cool' front may try to slip through on Monday, potentially bringing with it a few isolated storm chances early next week along with a *slight* break in temperatures. Something we'll continue to monitor in the days ahead!
Until then -- have a great rest of your week and stay cool! ~ Mia
